![]() One of the individuals running our training program stepped out a side entrance to a window and returned wide-eyed and ashen. We were so close we could hear the final rush of the jet engine and the impact threw us forward in our seats. The way our lecture hall was oriented, our backs were to the twin towers. We were in a training session at 222 Broadway when the first plane hit. ![]() I remember walking up the stairs out of the Park Place subway station and thinking how unbelievably clear and blue the sky looked. beginning my second day of training at Merrill Lynch. “When I close my eyes, the image is clear as day” ![]() ![]() Below is a selection of responses, edited for clarity and length.
